The buffet in the morning was awesome too. My aunt ordered room service and she absolutely loved it, my friend and I ate in the 24 hour cafe and the food and service were great. would bother us but they did not, the curtains were very heavy and shielded the light. I was surprised by how clean the rooms were, they did not have that muggy, stuffiness feel or smell. Our rooms were in the South tower, and they are huge for the price. Unlike others I did not have a problem with check in, the guy that checked us in was not as helpful as I wanted him to be but we were only around him for 5 min. I stayed at the Golden Nugget from Apr 9-12, and I absolutely loved it.
